CATARACT SURGERY

A cataract is a clouding of the eye’s naturally clear lens. The lens focuses light rays on the retina to produce a sharp image of what we see. When the lens becomes clouody, light rays cannot pass through it easily and vision is blurred.

Pterygium and Pinguecula are growths on the cornea and the conjunctiva. Both types of growths are believed to be caused by dry eye and environmental elements such as wind, dust and ultraviolet (UV) light.
